Abstract
As remote sensing image resolution improves continuously, the acquisition and up-date of GIS spacial data with the auxiliary of remote sensing image is becoming hot topics in the area of RS mixed with GIS. This paper discusses a method of GIS database up-date based on the fusion of spot and TM image features. We can overlay the image fusion outcome with the registrated GIS vector map to update GIS vector data, thus it can be realized that the quick up-date of GIS data by the use of high-resolution remote sensing image information.
