Abstract
The intent of this paper is to describe the performance enhancement available to angle-of-arrival estimation through the use of a multi-frequency capability. A maximum likelihood estimate has been formulated, based on a model that takes into account a priori information regarding the multipath geometry and the frequency dependence of the received signal. Simulation and field measurements are used to demonstrate the improved performance and to validate the model.
