Abstract
Thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) is an upcoming key technology for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). For the first time, OLED materials that combine efficiency, stability and a deep blue color point are available. In this work, we introduce the TADF technology and give a status update and development roadmap towards commercialization. As a highlight, we will especially feature a status update for deep-blue emitters with high stability and good color point, which are useful for efficient OLED displays.
