Abstract
Error-free coding of range gates is a key performance for the application in super-resolution depth mapping and reliable compressed range imaging. Until now, coding of range gates suffer from a non-linear error in erroneous coding sequences. But, Gray Codes and other Hamiltonian-type coding sequences can be used to eliminate ambiguities. In this paper, different coding sequences based on 4-bit Gray Codes as well as further 4-bit Coding schemes were investigated and applied to perform three-dimensional imaging in a range of 4.2 m with super-resolution.
