Abstract
Analysis of the correlations between the scattering coefficient of the aerosol dry matter and the mass concentration of the absorbing substance (soot, black carbon) at different altitudes in the troposphere has been carried using the data of longterm airborne measurements in the Novosibirsk region (village Zavyalovo) in 2000–2018. Based on the analysis for different seasons, the vertical profiles of the mass concentrations of black carbon have been retrieved. The errors in retrieving have been analyzed. The obtained empirical coefficients for different heights and for different seasons can be used to reconstruct the data on the concentrations of the absorbing substance from the data on the scattering coefficient.
