Abstract
Lightning activity in the north of Yakutia (>64N) has been increasing since 2016. In the western Yakutia, variations in lightning density correlated with each other. To the east of the Verkhoyansk Ridge, lightning activity was weakly associated with lightning activity in the western zones at interannual and seasonal intervals. The pulses with an energy of more than 104 J were observed along the Verkhoyansk Ridge and in the eastern Yakutia.
