Abstract

The submersible transformer is one an essential part of Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) which worked in Deep Ocean. The water pressure will beyond 30MPa under 3000 meter in ocean. Well sealed and perfect insulation is the necessary condition for the submersible transformer. The sealed performance is the key technical problem of the shell. Four kinds of sealed shell was studied in this paper, the bladder-type pressure compensation submersible transformer shell is ideal and suitable after theoretical calculation an experiment.
