Abstract
Desertification in China has reached 2.62 million square kilometers, and the desert areas are poor in land and water, and the harsh climatic conditions simply cannot provide a reliable growing environment for agricultural and forestry crops. At present, the main method to improve the desert environment is to plant trees artificially in the desert area, but the manual planting is inefficient and costly. Therefore, we have developed an all-in-one desert automatic tree planting machine. The tree planting machine consists of drilling module, seedling transport module, seedling picking and inserting module, irrigation module, mulching module and traveling module, which can realize the whole process from drilling to mulching and compaction of poplar seedling planting. This paper mainly introduces the structural composition and working principle of each mechanism of the tree planting machine.
