Abstract
By collecting and sorting out the historical documents recorded in the 1949 period of Gansu Province to 2020, And according to the annual, district and county-level administrative division classification, With the use of mathematical statistics and interval method, Reestablished the history of earthquake events in Gansu Province, The spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of disaster-causing historical earthquakes in Gansu Province after the founding of the People's Republic of China are comprehensively investigated, Find out the high-incidence areas of earthquake disasters in Gansu Province and the key areas of comprehensive prevention and control, It can provide reliable historical disaster information support and guarantee for the national comprehensive disaster risk survey. The results of the analysis showed that, A total of 36 historical earthquakes in Gansu province from 1949 to 2020 (among which, Thirty three historical earthquakes were centered in Gansu Province, The epicenter of the earthquake was located in neighboring province), And the magnitude of 4.3 magnitude (including 4.3 level) above; From the time scale, The disasters were the worst in 2008 and 2013; From the spatial scale, Zhangye City has the most earthquake distribution in the disaster history, But the worst hit is in southeastern Gansu Province, Wenxian County of Longnan City and Minxian County of Dingxi City are the most prominent disasters, And distributed in the Lintan-Dangchang fault zone near the disaster history of the most earthquake; The results of the interval method showed that, The disaster historical earthquakes in Gansu province include 2 extremely heavy earthquakes, 4 severe earthquakes, 8 relatively heavy earthquakes and 22 general earthquake disasters.
