Abstract
With the increasing demand for electricity and the wide application of new energy sources, the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in power grid construction management has gradually become prominent. By analyzing actual cases and current research results, this paper discusses the important role and challenges of AI in power grid construction management. In terms of role, AI shows its unique advantages through intelligent operation and maintenance management, equipment health monitoring and intelligent energy management. Intelligent operation and maintenance management system can monitor the status of power equipment in real time and predict potential faults, thus improving the operation efficiency of power grid. At the same time, the application of AI in energy management is expected to optimize the power production plan, better integrate distributed energy and energy storage systems, and promote the efficient use of renewable energy. However, AI faces a series of challenges in power grid construction management. Among them, data privacy and security are urgent problems to be solved, especially when sensitive data are involved in power system. The technical integration problem is also an important challenge. Due to the diversity of power equipment standards, the integration of AI system becomes more complicated. In addition, attention should be paid to social, economic and employment impacts, and relevant laws and regulations and ethical standards should be formulated to ensure the rational application of AI in power grid construction management. The research in this paper provides a combination of theory and practice for the development of AI in power grid construction management, and provides a reference for future policy formulation and technological innovation.
