Abstract
Current PC platforms allow solution of large bundle-adjustments and multi-image matching: these techniques can be exploited to achieve fast and precise results at a very low cost. Current operative problems are presented and some new improvements to LS-matching algorithms are suggested. The design of a digital PC-based softcopy workstation is presented. This system is intended to allow a flexible choice of stereo or multi-image models and to be fully extensible.
