Abstract
To design the laser-cutting CNC system based on Windows 95, one of the hinges is to realize the real-time data collection. Using the technology of VxDs, this paper introduces the way to obtain real-time data collection through accessing I/O ports directly and designing an accurate timer. Part of the source code is also given.
