Abstract
We present in the following work a family of wavelets which never delocalizes edge detection. This result is obtained by considering a new model introducing a close edge. The mutual inlfuence induced by the close edge is discussed. Two properties for the regularization filter are proposed to avoid edge delocalization. The edge detector which never delocalizes is selected to generate a family of wavelets. Each wavelet has n vanishing moments and will be very useful depending on the application. This work is overall conducted in the discrete domain.
