Abstract
The operation of a unit for measuring the temporal characteristics of a pulsing laser radiation has been investigated. This unit allows one to control the main energy and temporal parameters of various pulsed lasers of low and medium power in the wavelength range (0.4 - 1.1) μm and, at a maximum energy density of no more than 0.5 J/sm2 in the energy range (10-3 - 1) J at a radiation pulse duration of 10 -8 - 10-2 sec. The metrology characteristics of the unit considered has been determined. The total relative indeterminacy in measuring the peak power of pulses and the pulse duration did not exceed 4.6 and 4.4%, respectively.
