Abstract
Nonlinear interference filter devices, with bistable characteristics, have been used to demonstrate a number of all-optical digital circuits. These circuits demonstrate the feasibility of using optically bistable devices to construct systems of extensible all-optical logic and, ultimately, optical digital computers.
