A revised scheme for a polarization controller in which two sections of feedback fiber are spliced into one with a rotating fiber squeezer is introduced. Its new theoretical model in which an antirotating matrix is introduced, is presented in view of the technical disadvantage and the theoretical imperfection of the original polarization controller based on a fiber-recirculating delay line. The experimental results show that the theoretical model of the revised scheme is more reasonable.
