Cheng Lei is currently a professor in the Institute of Technological Sciences of Wuhan University. He obtained a BA degree from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, and a PhD degree from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, both in electronic engineering. He focuses on the development of ultrafast optical imaging techniques and the exploitation of their novel applications for industry, energy, and medicine.
