Profile Summary

First degree: Mathematics, Christ's College, Cambridge University, U.K (1991). Graduate degrees: Master's and Ph.D. in Computer Science, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN (1996 & 2001). My graduate research work was focused on point-based registration and accuracy prediction for image-guided surgery. I am currently employed as manager of the Imaging Research group at Accuray, Inc. The goal of the group is to improve and innovate in the area of tumor tracking by means of registering real-time projection X-ray images to pre-treatment CT volumes. My scientific areas of interest include image registration, image-guided procedures, navigation, accuracy prediction, and radiation treatment planning.
