Lorenzo Bianchi is a medical physicist; he received his medical physics doctorate from the University of Milan (Italy) and, after about ten years spent in the University Hospital of Varese, became Chief of Medical Physics Department of ASST della Valle Olona - Italy. His interest include nuclear medicine (especially therapy), medical statistics, radiation protection. Since 2010 he's Editorial Director of Italian Association of Medical and Health Physics (AIFM) website (www.fisicamedica.it) and developed the project ‘Themedicalphysicistanswers’ the AIFM website project ) aiming at making medical physicists’ knowledge on quality and safety in medical radiation exposure easily available to the public and professionals too.
