Abstract
Firstly, the current status of AEB testing scenarios in standard and regulations was analyzed in this study. Secondly, based on the China In-Depth Traffic Accident Study (CIDAS) database, the characteristics of intersection accident scenarios were analyzed from multiple dimensions such as speed, collision location, accident severity and road characteristics. The relevant parameters were extracted and optimized. Finally, AEB test scenario that conforms to the characteristics of Chinese road traffic was obtained. The test scenarios in this study can provide automotive consumers with reference for AEB performance, also can be used to provide verification standards for the research and development of AEB functions.
