This paper presents a method of measuring 3D minute displacement field of craniofacial bone by speckle photography. Multiple specklegrams are used in this method. Real spatial displacement is computed by the measurement of in-plane translations perpendicular to some viewing directions and the use of the projective transformation relation of the displacement vector. As a calculating example, the initial reaction of craniofacial bone produced by orthodontic forces is measured. Experimental results are in agreement with the results obtained by holographic interferometry.
