Abstract
Diurnal variations of the number concentrations of submicron Nf and coarse Nc particles with the size 0.4 to 1 and 1 to 10 m, respectively, obtained by means of optical counter at the Aerosol station of IAO SB RAS in 2000 – 2019, is analyzed in this paper. Diurnal variations of Nf and Nc, as well as the ratio Nf/Nc which represents the main peculiarities of the particle size distribution function are studied in the frameworks of empirical classification of the types of “aerosol weather” (“background”, “Haze-S”, “Smog” and “Smoke haze”).
