Abstract
To initialize and support the local forecast of the TSUNM3 mesoscale model, the results of the calculation of the global SL-AV model of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation are used. Various methods were used to interpolate the values calculated by the SL-AV model, falling in the 50x50km and 200x200km domains of the Tomsk Region: zero-dimensional interpolation, inverse distance method, modified Shepard method. The results of predictions obtained with the TSUNM3 model with various interpolation methods were compared with each other and with the observations obtained using the instruments of the Joint Use Center ‘Atmosphere’ at the Institute of Atmospheric Optics SB RAS.
