Abstract
With the increase in the market demand for fresh products, more and more attention is paid to the optimization of port collecting and distributing network of fresh products. An optimization model based on cargo damage cost and time penalty cost is established in this paper. The model is applied to a case, and the result of the model is worked out by genetic algorithm. The result shows that the railway transportation plays an important role in fresh products collection and distribution system at the port. The increase of railway transportation capacity can not only reduce the total cost of the fresh products collection and distribution system, but also reduce the cargo damage in the process of fresh products transportation.
