Abstract
Climate change is an international problem of universal concern all over the world, and it is also the most serious environmental problem facing human society so far. Greenhouse gases such as CO2, CH4 and NO2 produced by human activities are the main causes of environmental problems. More than 20% of global greenhouse gases come from farming. Low agricultural production efficiency and incomplete utilization of resources have increasingly affected the rural ecological environment. In this paper, Jiangsu is selected as the research object. Based on the agricultural data of these eight cities from 2015 to 2019, the DEA method is used to evaluate the agricultural production efficiency of Jiangsu, and according to the analysis results, countermeasures and suggestions are provided for agricultural development. We should adhere to the principle of giving priority to environmental protection, based on the concept of sustainable development and the principle of ecological and environmental protection, and according to the agricultural conditions in different regions, we should achieve the least investment, the least pollution and the highest utilization rate of resources. At the same time, we should cultivate new professional farmers, guide the development of green, circular, high-quality and efficient characteristic agriculture, and improve agricultural production efficiency.
