Abstract
Taking a double ferrule pipe joint as research object, a nonlinear static finite element analysis model of double ferrule pipe joint is established by considering the elastic-plastic deformation characteristics of ferrule material and the contact nonlinear factors between different components. In Abaqus the contact pressure of the front ferrule body, rear ferrule front ferrule and rear ferrule pipe contact surface is calculated to evaluate the sealing effect of the double ferrule pipe joint. At the same time, the relationship between the cone angle of the contact slope of the rear ferrule and the sealing characteristics of the pipe joint is discussed. The simulation analysis and evaluation process of the double ferrule pipe joint considering nonlinear factors can provide technical guidance and optimization analysis for the design of ferrule seal.
