Abstract
As one of the key components of the ship, the operating state of the propeller of the ship will directly affect the operating state of the whole ship. Propeller performance gradually decreases over time due to the combined effects of centrifugal forces, hydrodynamic forces, and debris collision forces in water. Propeller corrosion, metal material fatigue degradation, crack spread, etc., will lead to propeller degradation failure or even damage. The simulation and analysis of the ship propeller using the multifunctional physics coupling software COMSOL is of great significance to ensure the reliability, safety and stability of the propeller when running, and also provides further performance improvement of the propeller.
