Photomixing of internal mode beat in a Kerr micro-resonator frequency comb (microcomb) is a potential method to generate CW-THz wave with ultra-high frequency, low phase noise, and practicability for next-generation wireless communication. Here, we generated a 560-GHz CW-THz wave by photomixing of a soliton microcomb generated from a Si3N4 micro-resonator (frequency spacing = 560 GHz) with a uni-traveling-carrier photodiode (UTC-PD). Then, we evaluate the phase noise characteristics of generated CW-THz waves.
