Abstract
With the economic development, large buildings near the airport are being built in succession, and the terminals are also being built higher and higher. All these have brought great challenges to surface surveillance of the tower. If the monitoring is not in place, it is very easy for aircraft to collide with other aircraft and vehicles. In view of the complex airport environment, the monitoring methods of traditional tower can’t meet the requirements of airport security operation. In order to reduce the conflict events in the airport activity area, improving the detection probability of the existing equipment support methods, this paper introduces one surface movement radar based on the detection technology of moving target. Its signal processing design mainly adopts phase-coherent accumulation operation and CFAR (Constant false-alarm Rate) detection technology, which improves the detection probability of moving target in the airport active area and reduces the probability of False Alarm. The anti-interference ability of the radar system is improved, which not only ensures the flight safety of aircraft effectively, but also improves the operation efficiency of the airport.
