Abstract
Electric Fast Transient Burst (EFTB) is a type of electrical disturbance that occurs in electronic circuits and devices. Such as automatic coal mining control system. EFTB is characterized by its short duration, high amplitude, and high-frequency content, which can cause malfunction and damage in electronic systems. EFTB can be generated by various sources such as lightning strikes, electrostatic discharge, power surges, and switching operations. In recent years, the increasing complexity and sensitivity of electronic systems have made them more vulnerable to EFTB, making it essential to investigate the characteristics and behavior of EFTB to improve the reliability and safety of electronic systems. The main objective of this research is to investigate the characteristics and behavior of Electric Fast Transient Burst (EFTB) and its effects on electronic systems. Specifically, the research aims to: Analyze the EFTB waveform and its frequency spectrum, Evaluate the effects of EFTB on electronic components and systems, develop mitigation techniques to reduce the impact of EFTB on automatic coal mining control system.
