Abstract
This paper presents an efficient design technique for array signal preprocessing spatial matrix filters. Two approaches were considered when designing the filter. Firstly, the first approach minimizes the passband fidelity by controlling the attenuation level of the overall stopband approach, and secondly the second approach by inverting the objective function and constraints. The optimal solution of the optimization is derived through the theory of Lagrangian multipliers. By analyzing the relationship between the optimal solutions, and then introducing generalized singular value decomposition to simplify the design of the optimal solutions of the two methods and improve the efficiency of solving Lagrangian multipliers. Finally, the simulation results show that the method is effective for the design of space matrix filter.
