Abstract
To realize fine production management and process control, a process reliability modeling method considering discrete state and continuous performance degradation is proposed in this paper. Process reliability is defined by the degree to which a process satisfies customer requirements, and the process elements covered by process reliability are analyzed. A process reliability modeling method based on a general generating function is proposed by integrating the discrete characteristics of stage capacity caused by failures and the continuous dynamic characteristics of long-term capacity caused by performance degradation. A case study is carried out for a part machining process, and the results show that this method can more accurately characterize the process state, and then provide a more accurate basis for production decision-making.
