Abstract
With the rapid development of urban power grid, the electricity load increases sharply, and the 10kV distribution grid becomes more and more complicated. The method of neutral grounding without grounding or through arc suppression coil can not meet the demand. The method of neutral grounding with small resistance is more and more widely used in 10kV distribution network because it can remove the fault quickly when single phase grounding occurs. In actual operation, the voltage transformer fuse will still be burned out. This paper introduces a failure of voltage transformer fuse due to cable fault, analyzes the reason in detail, and gives suggestions for the next step.
