Abstract
Velocity and temperature fluctuations have been studied in the framework of wave propagation theory. The asymptote of the velocity spectrum for isotropic turbulence is derived in the analytical form and found to agree well with the experimental data. A similar result for the temperature spectrum aggrees qualitatively with experimental data.
