Abstract
Data extraction from high resolution moiré interferometry has been automated using the technique of phase stepping fringe analysis. Test measurements are gathered expediently and with high accuracy such that detailed distortion and strain distributions can be determined. Illustrative examples that demonstrate the techniques accuracy for both displacement and strain are given.
