Abstract
In this paper, a new method of increasing the sensitivity of Schlieren interferometer using two Wollaston prisms is presented. Theories and experiments show that this Schlieren interferometer has high sensitivity and is suitable for using high energy of pulsed laser as light source. It was used in the measurement of hypersonic flow field in shock tube.
