Abstract
Many types of high-resolution TV cameras and image processing systems can be used in experimental mechanics. We discuss some high-resolution video processing systems and applications to fringe analysis. As one of the examples, we describe a high-resolution TV system in an oblique-incidence interferometry for profiling a gear tooth surface.
