Abstract
The phase Shift of the linear polarizating light introduced by total internal reflection in the optical fibre current sensor is discussed. Two compensating methods for the phase shift ,the optical one and the geometric one ,are developed. Two designs of the high polarization-keepthg probes for measurement of the electric current by Faraday magnetooptical effect are given.
