Abstract
Two problems are examined: the potential accuracy estimation of phase distortions and limiting resolution of two equal power point sources of noise signals. Having solved the first problem one can determine the limiting resolution of the adaptive telescope. From solution of the second problem it follows that the limiting resolution of antenna doesn't depend on the presence of arbitrary phase distortions in aperture.
