Abstract
Results of experiments to produce lighlover microvave radiation of given vavelength bythe tuning of a selective external feedback system are presented. Considered also are theadvantages of this system for obtaining a narrower spectral line of radiation in the millimeterand submillimeter vavebands. The generator has a helical undulator and operates in a free- electron maser regime vith an electron beam energy of up to 1 MeV and total current of upto 1 kA.
