Abstract
Information about biological effect of electromagnetic radiation(EMR) on living organisms is known for a long time, but a systematicdevelopment of a problem began during the late 19401s by the groupunder guidance of an academician Devyatkov N.D. In particular, it wasfound that a millimeter band EMR can accelerate and decelerate agrowth of microorganisms, increase an activity of synthesis by micro- organisms of enzymes and change a complex of these enzymes with apredominance of a necessary component, to restore an ionic permiabil- ity of erythrocyte membranes broken by electric break-down, can acce- lerate a peroxide oxidation of lipids, weaken the effect of radiationand chemotherapeutic remedies on processes of medullary hemopoiesisof animals. It was determined a strong dependence of effects of rad- iation action on biological objects on a frequency of oscillations,i.e. a presence of acute resonances.
