Abstract
In many potential applications of optical fibre interferometric sensors the requirement is for very small sensors that perform essentially point measurements, for example, temperature, pressure, vibration and strain. For such applications low-finesse fibre Fabry-Perot interferometers (LFFFPI) have demonstrated excellent potential.
