Abstract

In this article, we mainly describe the preparation of the silica optical fiber doped with rare earth ion Tm³⁺ by utilizing solution-doped technique, and the control of relevant parameters of the fiber. The control and the measurement method of dopantion concentration of Tm³⁺ have also been discussed.
