Abstract
This paper describes the design of a repetitively pulsed laser with an average output power of up to 50 kW in CO2-, 15 kW in CO-, and 2 kW in Ar/Xe gas mixtures. Recent experimental results of a laser with 121 discharge volume are reported and extrapolated to a concept which enables the power values mentioned above.
