Abstract
The improvement of shaped charge performance depends to a large extent on an improved precision of all components and on the improved homogeneity of the high explosive charge and of the liner 1. The deviation of the individual jet elements from the axis must be less than 0.1 % if these elements are to transform their kinetic energy into an increase in depth at the crater bottom 4.
