Abstract
Parallel processing is commonly applied in image analysis but is relatively uncommon in graphics. An approach to graphical operations employing a pyramid machine architecture is presented which permits certain kinds of geometric figures to be rendered very rapidly. In addition to conventional lines and circles in a discrete space, methods for plotting pyramidal lines and spheres are presented. The graphical complexity of images and the stylization of images are also discussed.
