Abstract

Optical spectra of Pr³⁺ doped fiber was recorded under dye laser and Ar⁺ laser excitation. Fluorescence was observed from ¹D₂ and ³P₀ levels. In addition to that emission was also observed at 280 to 300 nm due to cooperative emission.
