Abstract
Software of 3D reconstructions for medical images is basically focused on the application of visualization. Few people have studied the techniques and software about numerical simulation oriented 3D reconstructions for medical images that mainly solve the problems such as visualization for 3D reconstructions, model modifying and mesh generation for finite element analysis. These issues were reviewed and analyzed, the development toolkits were introduced, and some attentive questions and their corresponding solutions as well as some new perspectives were proposed.
