Abstract
A new method to realize the intending movement by changing the friction is proposed. Based on the match of inertial impact and the friction, a piezoelectric movement mechanism with inertial movement driven by multilayer piezoelectric actuator is designed, which is actuated by the symmetry electrical wave. The experiments are carried on to know the velocity performance of the actuator according to the square signal's voltage and the frequency's change. The experiments show that the mechanism actuated by the square wave on the multilayer piezoelectric actuators can move regularly. The mechanism can be controlled by the driving frequency. The mechanism is simple, the volume is small and it is easy to control. Based on the mechanism's performances such as quick positioning, heavy load and high precision merits, it can be used in precise position area.
