Abstract
The optical model of polycrystalline networks of biological tissues protein fibrils is presented. The technique of determining the Mueller-matrix reconstruction of the coordinate distribution of polarization properties of subsurface layers of biological tissues is suggested. The results of investigating the interrelation between the values of statistical (statistical moments of the 1st-4th order), correlation (correlation area, asymmetry coefficient and autocorrelation function excess) and fractal (dispersion of logarithmic dependencies of power spectra) parameters are presented. They characterize the coordinate distributions of Mueller-matrix elements of subsurface layers of biological tissues and orientation-phase structure of birefringent network of protein fibrils.
